Ralph Jones is the principal and president of Emerson Commercial Properties, LLC bringing the valuable experience from his continued commercial success into this business. Ralph is a native of Greensboro, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before venturing into the business sector.

Ralph has been involved with commercial real estate and development in various capacities for more than 6 years. Before moving into commercial real estate, Ralph worked for a fortune 500 company in upper management. During this period, Ralph developed a personal model for success which helped his business reach a level of annual sales over $5 million for 8 consecutive years. Throughout the years, Ralph has developed and refined an exceptional quality of experience in commercial investment real estate and land development.

Drew is also a principal with the firm and brings a strong background in commercial real estate.  He was also a principal with Twin City Commercial Brokerage.  He has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience. 

Drew is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) A CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. A CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among an elite corps of more than 9,000 professionals in 1,000 markets throughout the United States, Canada, and 30 additional countries who hold the CCIM designation.  Only about 6% of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

Drew is a native of Greensboro and graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Psychology.  He also holds a Masters Degree in I/O Psychology from Appalachian State University.

Matt Diachenko joined Emerson Commercial Properties, LLC in January 2008 bringing a lot of energy to our commercial real estate market.  He is a graduate of College of Charleston and has been a licensed broker since 2007.  Born and raised in Greensboro, he has a strong knowledge of the Triad.  Before entering into brokerage, Matt practiced real estate as a project manager for First Coast Homes in Charleston, SC.

John Black joined Emerson Commercial Properties, LLC in January 2009.  He brings 10 years experience in the commercial real estate business after retiring from a 35 year career in textile sales.  His real estate experience includes working as a broker at Brown Investment Properties, Reliant Properties, LLC as Broker-in-Charge as well as his own firm, John W. Black Real Estate, LLC.

John is a native of Charlotte, NC.  He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Business.  His wife, Lynn Black, has been active in Greensboro real estate for many years.

Paul Kirkland joined Emerson Commercial Properties, LLC in August 2010, after serving Brown Investment Properties for 11.5 years, where numerous awards were earned, including Top Producer of the year.  He has served on numerous committees over the years relating to technology, international relations, and technology.  He has been active in the NAIOP, CCIM, & CLE organizations.  Paul's prior work experience includes construction, mortgage finance, and sales.  He has developed retail and office properties, including restaurants, freestanding office, and office condos.  His real estate consulting business has provided insight to residential land development, including lots on well and septic, as well as sewer.  Property types from waterfront condos with deep water boat slips, apartments, affordable housing, to single family housing.  It is his depth of personal experience that sets him apart from the average real estate broker.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of NC at Charlotte.  He also holds the prestigious CCIM designation and is a NC Contractor with an Unlimited Builders License. From 2001-2002 he served on the Board of Directors of the Commercial and Industrial Division of the Greater Greensboro REALTORS Association.  Paul was named one of twelve Rising Stars in the State of NC in 2003, in addition to serving as a Governor on the NC State REALTORS Commercial Alliance (the commercial arm of the NC Realtors Association) from 2003-2005.
